Turtle bay beech is only a few minutes drive from the apartment and there are signs on the beech warning people to be careful of the turtles which is only really relevant once a year (September I think). Most of the little headlands and bays you can get to from the main Esenteppe road lead down to beeches that are pretty unspoilt. As previously mentioned if you want the bars and watersports then it is possible to find them nearer to Kyrenia.
